Huh, what? Jon isn’t a prude?? “I think it must be true. Else why refuse Ygritte? She’d hardly give you any fight at all, seems to me. The girl wants you in her, that’s plain enough to see.” Too bloody plain, thought Jon, and it seems that half the column has seen it. He studied... Continue Reading →
Is Jon Snow a prude?
Or, “was his confidence around Daenerys too ooc to not be suspicious?” Ok, so at the beginning, Book!Jon and Show!Jon are shown to be prudes when it comes to sex. I didn’t say women. I said sex. Seriously. Antis arguing that it’s not normal for shy Jon to be so entrepreneur with a girl he’s... Continue Reading →
The 7×07 script is up on the emmys site. I still think there’s a chance for Jonsa but the script has killed any chance of undercover Jon and tbh I’m relieved. It was the worst of all the options for me. I know some of my fellow jonsas think Jon loving dany is occ, but I think him playing her is more ooc. I also think he bent the knee because he seriously thought she’d be a good queen, not because he was in love. He’s not that dumb. I don’t think he’s right but Jon will find that out next season.
fedonciadale: Dear nonny, I don’t know exactly what kind of theory you are alluding to. Undercover Jon is about Jon being in cahoots with Sansa all the time and going to Dragonstone with the goal to seduce her and play her. That was never a very realistic theory and I never adhered to it. I’ve... Continue Reading →
Cinematic Jonerys
things-i-think-and-junk: It’s easy to forget sometimes that cinema is a language in itself. Every shot should have a purpose, chosen in a way to propel the story forward, much like a every choice of word should help build a novel. There is a lot of talk lately about how the finale of 7x07 was framed... Continue Reading →
You think Jon will ride drogon or will he stay on the ground?
instantbouquetface-me: Drogon in particular? No I don’t think so. I know that the show had a moment between Jon and Drogon: But I don’t think this meant he was going to ride him. I think this had too primary purposes: 1) To indicate Jon’s Targaryen heritage, as something recognized by the Dragon, and 2) To... Continue Reading →
Why boatsex was very romantic
In which I actually want to argue why the Rhaegar/Lyanna and the Tower of Joy scenes added to the romance instead of ruining it. Skeptic? Here we go: 1) First we’ve got a wedding. Love vows. 2) An important part of the scene at the ToJ is Ned’s silent vow to protect his nephew. “You... Continue Reading →
Why Jon kept quiet about bending the knee to Daenerys in 7×06
instantbouquetface-me: tatticstudio55: We’ve speculated a lot on this question, although mostly from Dany’s side. Why didn’t JON tell anybody? Before the big 7x07 dragonpit reveal to Cersei, that is? Well, first, the only person Jon could’ve shared this information with up to this point was Davos, really. You could stretch it and argue that he... Continue Reading →
The conqueror savior fallacy
shipbellarkelikeapsycho: tatticstudio55: I finally put my finger on something that really gnaws at me with the antis’s discourse. Here’s the thing: 1) Most of them will argue that Dany’s invasion of Westeros is unjustified, that nobody wants her in Westeros, that she’s an aggressor motivated at the core by selfish reasons. Westeros doesn’t belong to... Continue Reading →
Jon, Dany and the burnt Tarlys…again
instantbouquetface-me: So anti- posts seem to go through cycles. One day its the burnt Tarlys, then its the incest aspect (all that 44% and what not etc.), then it’ the “no chemistry” and “Jon never looks at her lovingly, it is only in her mind”, then it’s that Dany is so power hungry that she’ll hate... revansnow: littleblue-babyicicle: revansnow: littleblue-babyicicle: revansnow: littleblue-babyicicle: revansnow: I never thought I’d see people actually empathize with slavers, but here we are. This is so wild. According to Dany haters freeing slaves somehow makes her a bad person, just let that sink in. You’re endorsing slavery just to fit your stupid, nonexistent narrative. Dany allows ex-slaves... Continue Reading →
