Why antis need to stop trying to internet-diagnose Daenerys Targaryen with DSM diagnoses

love-deejay: Another day, another dumb fucker anti trying to use their poor understanding of mental illness to diagnose Daenerys Targaryen with a personality disorder.  Big thanks to @glitta and @hyggekrog for the tip off. This ignorant fool seriously watched a 5 minute Ted Talk cartoon and then decided that “from an official, medical standpoint, [Daenerys] has... Continue Reading →

I think Jon would be willing to manipulate Daenerys for the sake of the survival of mankind. You Jonerys stans complain about undercover!jon all the time because it hurts Dany’s feelings but the survival of mankind is more important than one woman’s feelings. Jon doesn’t have reason to trust Daenerys. She made him a prisoner when he went there in good faith. Jon has reason to be skeptical of her word. This is a real argument. I’m not trolling. I want to see you refute this.

mysnowdragons: iheartdandelions: You are trolling. Didn’t you ask this question to another Dany blog recently? What do you think we’re all gonna say? Are you somehow trying to trip us up into “admitting” you are actually correct and Jon is secretly plotting against Dany…? Cuz if that’s the case, sorry to say, no. Not going to... Are you getting tired of the person calling Daenerys Bringer of Chains and their supporters just going on about the same thing over and over again as if we don’t know anything about the series or history? That one person even felt like they had to put up the history of the North because they just thought we wouldn’t get it and that we would see the light if only we were just exposed to the truth.

History doesn’t really have anything to do with it. If you want to present a case for the independence of the North, that’s fine, and if you want to use historical arguments for it that’s fine as well, but by referring to Daenerys as a “Bringer of Chains”, I mean… that doesn’t sound metaphorical. That sounds... Continue Reading →

things-i-think-and-junk: GoT isn’t subtle about feelings One of the major complaints about Jonerys is how we had to be told repeatedly that Jon and Dany are in love. That apparently their chemistry isn’t enough and we need to be told. I think that people forget that this show tends to hit us over the head... Continue Reading →

Do you think Saan’s story about Azor Ahai was meant to recall Dany, who did sacrifice her husband & son (sort of) to hatch the dragons, or was it simply a blood magic recipe, where MMD+horse=enough power to charge the eggs? If Stannis’ rule about sacrifice is correct, doesn’t that imply an intelligence weighing the sacrifice, as opposed to magic like a sort of force with rules, where the quantity of life or power needed or gained is a constant, if proportionate value?

turtle-paced: Magic/sacrifice pt 2. If magic does work as a life/blood/power exchange medium, how could Shireen’s life (esp. as she is physically tainted) weigh all that much, unless someone or something was taking into account how much Stannis cares about her (ie the widow’s mite from Luke 21:4 or Mel’s cow analogy)? I don’t want... Continue Reading →

Daenerys has no right to the iron throne! She’s a usurper Queen. The rightful king is Stannis Baratheon. Not some foreign whore from Essos who is a terrible queen there besides. Robert won the iron throne by right of conquest. His rightful heir is his brother, Stannis. The Targaryen dynasty was overthrown so any living Targaryens have no claim. If they want that throne back they need to conquer it just like their ancestor Aegon did. But they are not rightful anymore. Baratheons are.

instantbouquetface-me: stuckylokanefan: What does this Stannis fan think Daenerys is gathering an army for? She knows that she has to regain the kingdom through conquest which is why she is a gathering an army in the first place. Also how is Stannis in the show going to get the throne when he is quite dead,... Continue Reading →

Is Sansa the YMBQ?

It’ll take some zigzags to get there, but basically, what got me on this was Sansa’s parallels with Snow White:  1) The jealous evil step mother Doesn’t the whole “Maggie the Frog prophecy” - until a younger, more beautiful queen comes to cast you down at take all you hold dear - reminds you of “Mirror, mirror,...
